Graduate Web Developer

Salary dependent on experience and skills.

(Permanent Position with a 3 Month Trial)

We have a very exciting opportunity for a motivated graduate web developer to join our small and creative team. The candidate will be working on a variety of new and cutting-edge products, alongside existing content management system, database and hosting services.

Unique Media and its sister company Unique Media TV are leading providers of bespoke web and interactive video streaming solutions throughout Europe. We design and develop both website and video based solutions for unique and fresh digital communication.

We require a talented developer to work with a broad range of technologies and platforms. This position offers the right candidate a significant long-term opportunity to benefit from the strong growth the company is experiencing, whilst still offering interesting and technically challenging work. The position available is based in our Headquarters in Wick near Bristol and also includes foreign travel to provide support with live webcast events.

Your primary responsibilities will include the ongoing development and support of hosted websites and applications on the Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP/Windows environment.

Reliability, a keen eye for detail, the ability to produce an exceptional standard of code and a practical understanding of the end-user's interaction with a system is essential in this role.

You should be degree qualified or equivalent and must be able to demonstrate that you have developed an understanding of the following technologies and skills...

  • PHP and MySQL
  • JavaScript / XHTML / CSS
  • Linux / Apache
